Message from the chief editor       27.01.2022

Dear authors!

«Bulletin of the Karaganda university. Chemistry series» journal is currently indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, also has a positive growth in citation. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the journal has access to modern tools that simplify the editorial board work, such as the Publons reviewer selection service, the Antiplagiat.ru originality detection service, and some others..

Recently, the journal has had no problems with the formation of its briefcase, apparently due to the growth of its status and reputation. At the same time, there is a multiple increase in the submission of manuscripts to the journal. It causes a significant increase in the workload on editorial board members who process incoming correspondence and review manuscripts.

In this regard, it was decided to apply the following interrelated journal editorial procedures in order to streamline the work of the editorial board:

I. Initial review of the manuscript immediately after submission:

-  the subject of the manuscript must correspond to the journal's field of research;

- verification the manuscript's conformity to technical quality and author guidelines (see https://chemistry-vestnik.ksu.kz/regulations);

- checking the quality of translation into English (professional not automatic);

- checking the logic and interconnectedness of the material presentation in the manuscript;

- verification the manuscript's originality (using originality detection service Antiplagiat.ru)

II. Per Review:

- selection of reviewers through Publons;;

- correspondence with authors and reviewers;

III. Professional editing of the manuscript text translation into English;

IV. Preprint preparation of manuscripts: formatting of the manuscript, technical editing, receiving Publication Fees, signed Copyright agreements;;

V. Post-print work with the issue:

 - DOI registration;

- distribution of the issue in the elibrary, Google, Scholar, DOAJ indexed databases;

- promotion of the issue in social networks, individual work with authors.

Dear authors, if one of the requirements of the first procedure is not met, then the manuscript can be immediately returned to the authors, without further consideration and Per Review.

The Editorial Board hopes for your understanding of the situation and relies on the responsibility and professionalism of the authors!

Chief Editor:

Burkeyev M.Zh.,

corresponding member NAS RK,

Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor
